The Content Specialist is responsible for the version control and maintenance of training content for delivery through live and online mechanisms.

In addition, they will maintain the existing portfolio of courses and oversee the process for updating and maintaining training materials.

He/she will administer consistency of course materials including course templates, learning objectives, standardized bios, course descriptions, front pages and other course elements.

This individual will act as liaison to business managers and training support team in the readiness of course notes for public and online programs.

With guidance from the Manager of Content Development, he/she will ensure training materials are effective, current, relevant and compatible with policies and relevant codes and standards.

The Content Specialist will aid the Manager Content Development in any transfer of hard copy courses to electronic format, and provide support in the storage of course materials both hard copy and electronic.

They will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of instructor, developer & peer reviewer contracts, acting as liaison to legal department in the maintenance & recording of contract status, and communication of status to relevant parties.

Bachelors degree or related equivalent experience with at least three years experience working within a training development environment required.

Ideal candidate must have a demonstrated ability to work effectively within teams with an ability to coordinate multiple project activities and adhere to deadlines.

Position requires a high degree of attention to detail.

Must be proficient with MSProject, PowerPoint and MSOffice, experience with technical documents a plus.
