CLS Generic Position Summary The Director of Creative Projects is responsible for managing design and development operations projects for priority hotels/HALO brands, as well as participating in broader company initiatives.

Specific Job Summary The purpose of this position is to provide operational leadership for strategic market projects as well as concept and design approval coordination and integration across the Marriott International enterprise.

3. Hands On Operational Focus Provides hands on tactical support alongside Property / CLS / GOS teams to ensure successful concept execution.

4. Stakeholder Relationship Management Build and maintain a network of internal partners to support concept design and activation.

As a Project Engineer, you will work in a team environment and be considered the primary resource responsible for coordinating projects and providing the technical expertise needed to develop new product.

You will have the opportunity to see, touch and feel your final product in our manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include: Leading in the entire product cycle from conception of the idea to final production of aircraft interior products.

You will be involved in the design, development, testing and validation of the product.

Beverage Maker and component design to include stress and thermal analysis, modeling, documenting, testing, weight analysis, reliability analysis, planning, cost analysis, and interfacing with suppliers, manufacturing representatives and customers.

Provides technical leadership to a group of temporarily assigned engineers and technicians.

Interface with customers to present design solution and technical review; provide technical support on existing products.

Responsible for the safe operation of the product, qualification testing, project coordination and product support.

Ensures successful completion of the assigned project phase within the budgeted time and cost constraints Performs standard engineering assignments usually representing a significant portion of a larger project.

Selects engineering techniques to solve problems and make design recommendations.

Some travel is required Job Requirements : Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from a four-year college or university and a minimum of six years related experience and/or training.

Proven track record of product development and project management Must have strong leadership skills Must have Product development and testing experience Knowledge of FAA certification process is preferred Must have experience with writing qualification test plans, test reports, and various required certification documents Ability to use sound engineering judgment and analytical skills to look at the big picture, get to the root cause of the problem, and guide others in the process.
