Position Description: Position purpose: The Benefits Administrator will be responsible for supporting the entire employee population with issues relevant to benefits services and programs.

Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits eligibility, plan provisions and claims and communicate with various carriers regarding employee eligibility and claims once escalated.

Assist Benefits Manager with New Business Analysis and special projects as assigned.

Manage eligibility for all benefit plans, including generating eligibility file transmissions, auditing benefit enrollment activity and reconciling data with carriers.

Oversee the process of monthly premium payments for all fully-insured products ensuring accurate and timely payments.

Conduct periodical audits of benefit programs to ensure accuracy of data, compliance with corporate process and procedures and compliance with applicable government regulations.

Assist with EIS system setup and testing for plan modifications and periodic updates.

SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS:
Oversee and delegate as necessary payroll adjustments due to benefit election changes, etc.
Coordinate and monitor employee leaves of absence under FMLA, STD, LTD, etc.
Audit, collect and account for employee benefits deductions in arrears.

Conduct benefits orientation for new hires.

Assist in management and coordination of annual open enrollment process.

Assist in department projects and initiatives as requested.

Responsible for 401(k) administration including but not limited to single point of contact for discrepancies and questions, open enrollment and annual audits.
