ELECTRO-MECHANICAL ASSEMBLER/TECHNICIANWorcester area, MA Our client is a leading manufacturer of accessory equipment for the paper and web converting industry.

They are hiring an electro-mechanical assembler/technician to be based in the Worcester area facility.

This position offers strong potential for growth within the company.

Responsibilities include: .

Communicate with customers, giving them cost estimates.

Repair and assemble all new and refurbished electro-mechanical units to client specifications.

Perform quality inspections within the cell and resolve issues.

Perform testing on all units prior to shipping.

Complete standard documentation forms, requisitions, timesheets, assembly logs, etc. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.

Requirements include: .

The ability to travel four days/week for 6-9 months.

AA or BA/BS in a technical field.

Strong mechanical aptitude.

Basic electrical skills and trouble shooting skills.

Knowledge of basic electrical functions.

Ability to read and work off of mechanical and electrical prints, schematics and engineering drawings.

Hands-on work experience/training in the automotive or electrical trades.

Strong computer skills.

Excel required; Oracle a plus.

Good interpersonal skills for customer interaction.

Ability to perform field service with minimal travel (after training period).
