Under the direction of the Service Branch Manager, the Service Representative – Healthcare provides preventative maintenance and repair services at customer establishments throughout the assigned territory by following manufacturers instructions and utilizing knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic equipment.
This position provides technical expertise and leadership during the installation of the Companys products ensuring optimal performance and synergy with other equipment when necessary.
The Service Representative is also responsible for the start-up and troubleshooting of equipment in accordance with manufacturers specifications and customers requirements, in order to insure high quality and performance.
The Service Representative will also be relied upon to provide instruction to our customers staff in the operation and proper use of our equipment.
During the installation of equipment the Service Representative is responsible for controlling and reducing installation time in order to lower costs and improve profitability.
Additionally, this position is expected to sell products and services marketed by Getinge (ie equipment upgrades, service contracts, parts, consumable products).
