Lakeshore Learning District Sales Managers have a knack for leading by example.
In fact, this is the glue that holds a successful retail team togetherand your leadership is the essential component.
As liaison between our corporate offices and the stores in your district, you are the primary channel through which all policies, procedures, and expectations are sent and maintained.
The importance of conveying these messages in a fashion that motivates and unites store staff in a common purpose cant be overstated.
We are currently seeking an experienced District Sales Manager to oversee a collection of stores in the Texas/Oklahoma markets.
ResponsibilitiesBuilding Talent
Recruit and develop an engaged, sales-driven team
Provide your team with consistent coaching and growth opportunities
Create a team atmosphere and positive work environment throughout district
Uses Lakeshore training programs to train and develop all managers
Conduct appropriate and timely manager evaluations
Take necessary corrective actions in a timely fashion
Work to reduce turnover through coaching and development
Develop in-store succession plans for all locations Building Service Standards
Set the pace.
lead your retail teams by example
Prioritize daily objectives for each store
Model how to build a unique and lasting relationship with customers
Solicit and communicate customer feedback at each store
Strive to build sales through company-driven sales programs and incentives
Achieve goals of district sales plan through excellent customer service Building Revenue & Operational Excellence
Work with Director of Stores to set individual store goals and district goals
Work with management teams to maximize sales and profitability
Monitor monthly financial statements
Manage controllable expenses
Maintain company expectations regarding retail policies/procedures
Proactively correct inefficiencies
Control shrink through institution of loss prevention measures
Anticipate store needs and seek opportunities to improve performance of all stores Essential Skills & Attributes

3-5 years related multi-unit District Sales Management experience
Ability to travel throughout district 50%-75% of each week
Ability to work flexible schedule, including nights and some weekends
Track record that shows organizational and administrative abilities
Strong written and oral communication skills
