Sales General ManagerDescription: Are you an experienced Sales GM looking for a rewarding career in the telecommunications industry? The Sales GM will ensure targets for sales, revenue, and customer growth, retention and satisfaction are met, while leading and advancing corporate business sales, and financial goals.

Some imperative functions include but are not limited to: Lead, develop, manage and monitor location financial objectives including: revenue forecast for commercial services in all channels, working with channel leaders/partners to attain revenue and growth objectives for each segment; city financials; and addressing issues, deviations, exceptions, modifications, including corrections/adjustments to business operations and/or sales activities.

Lead, develop and oversee attainment of annual business and market plans in accordance with company strategy.

Collaborate with multiple organizations not reporting to this position that function within assigned location and are responsible for significant portion of city related sales success (national accounts, national enterprise accounts, alternate channel).

Lead local marketing and public awareness programs, provide guidance and feedback to corporate marketing.

Lead and manage staff members including some human resource functions as well.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements: Must have demonstrated knowledge of: marketing and sales promotion accounting and finance, including GAAP, sales forecasting, capital expenditures and operating expenses fiber network technologies, products, services and components data network topologies and management of related resources.

Required skills are as follows: negotiating relationship with all levels of management advanced verbal and written communication skills process and project management team leadership, management and motivation pc desktop packages (Microsoft Office preferred).In this work environment, occasional travel is required.

Other than this, the qualified candidate will work in a typical office environment with extensive use of office equipment.

Experience and Education Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, economics, marketing or telecom, or equivalent combination of applicable education/experience.

Minimum of 5-7 years telecommunications sales and sales leadership experience, including minimum of 3 years telecommunications sales management experience is required.

Vice President or general Manager title held in previous telecommunications companies preferred.
